Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions enabling digital transformation. You will work with stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to drive platform innovation.

You will guide backlog, plan releases, and provide hands-on development while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance boards. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Technical Consultant.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, and related capabilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Workflows, ACLs, Notifications, Update Sets, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly demand backlog meetings and prioritize initiatives and enhancements.
• Design scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Present solution designs and architectural decisions to governance boards.
• Manage change requests, deployment planning, release coordination, and production readiness.
• Provide hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration while guiding the delivery team.
• Drive Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and deployments.
