Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead enterprise-grade design and governance for ServiceNow platforms. The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to drive platform innovation and reliability.

You will lead backlog discussions, ensure scalable designs, and provide hands-on development while guiding the delivery team through agile processes and deployment activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect or lead technical consultant.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog.
• Hands-on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Workflows, ACLs, Notifications, Update Sets and integrations.
• Proven experience creating technical solution designs and presenting architecture to governance boards and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, demand management, backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, release management and deployments.
• Experience leading distributed technical teams and mentoring ServiceNow developers.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly demand backlog meetings and prioritize initiatives.
• Design scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Present solution designs and architectural decisions in governance boards.
• Manage change requests, deployment planning, releases, and production readiness.
• Perform hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration while guiding the team.
• Drive Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and deployments.
