Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions for critical business operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to drive platform innovation and transformation.

You will provide hands‑on development and technical leadership while guiding Agile delivery and the governance process to ensure scalable, secure outcomes across ITSM and related modules.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Technical Consultant.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Catalog, and related capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies/Actions, Flow Designer, Workflows, ACLs, Notifications, Update Sets, and integrations.
• Proven experience creating technical solution designs and presenting architecture recommendations to governance boards and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies including demand management, backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, release management, and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly demand backlog meetings and prioritize initiatives with stakeholders.
• Design scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Present designs and architectural decisions through governance forums.
• Manage change requests, release planning, and production readiness activities.
• Perform hands‑on ServiceNow development and configuration while guiding the delivery team.
• Drive Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
