Job summary

Cognizant seeks a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions that enable critical business operations and digital transformation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams, driving hands-on development and architectural decisions. Strong communication and governance participation are essential for success in this remote U.S.-based role.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect or similar lead role.
• Deep ITSM expertise including Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Service Catalog.
• Hands-on development with Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, and integrations.
• Experience presenting architectural designs to governance boards and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, demand management, and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly demand backlog meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.
• Design scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Present designs and architecture recommendations to governance boards.
• Manage change requests, deployment planning, and release coordination.
• Provide hands-on development and technical leadership to the delivery team.
• Drive Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and deployments.
