Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Developer to design, configure, and optimize HRSD capabilities for a leading technology client. Remote work is available through a contract engagement, with a focus on Employee Center, Case & Knowledge Management, and AI-powered HR experiences.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ServiceNow development, strong HRSD expertise, and proven ability to integrate with Workday and other enterprise systems, in Agile

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on HRSD experience.
• Expertise in Employee Center, HR Case Management, Employee Relations, Knowledge Management, and HR Catalogs.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow platform architecture.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with Workday or other HCM platforms.
• Experience with Now Assist, AI capabilities, and employee experience solutions.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Preferred certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS-HR.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and support ServiceNow HRSD applications and modules.
• Build and enhance HR case management workflows, lifecycle events, employee journeys, and service catalog experiences.
• Develop custom applications, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, ACLs, and integrations.
• Configure Employee Center, HR Agent Workspace, Knowledge Management, Employee Relations, and HR Service Catalog offerings.
• Create and maintain scalable, reusable development standards and technical documentation.
• Implement and optimize ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist for HR, case summarization, resolution recommendations, knowledge recommendations, and employee self-service experiences.
• Design intelligent workflow automation to improve employee experience and reduce manual effort and case volume.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI-driven enhancement opportunities.
• Develop and support integrations with platforms including Workday, identity management solutions, enterprise data platforms, and internal applications.
• Create and maintain integration patterns using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and APIs.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and integration teams to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
• Support future-state architecture planning and platform optimization initiatives.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to workflows, security access, portals, integrations, reporting, and platform performance.
• Optimize existing HRSD capabilities based on user feedback and adoption metrics.
• Support platform upgrades and releases, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to development best practices.
• Participate in technical design reviews, develop testing strategies, support UAT and deployments, and ensure transition to support and operations.
• Work closely with HR Product Managers, Business Systems Analysts, ServiceNow COE, Enterprise Architects, engineering teams, and external system integrators.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
