Job summary

Via Logic LLC is hiring a Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and deploy custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. You will implement scoped apps, workflows, and catalog items while guiding integrations with external systems.

You’ll collaborate with architects, analysts, and clients to translate business needs into secure, maintainable solutions, support CI/CD movements, and mentor junior developers in an enterprise DHS context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• At least one current ServiceNow CIS certification.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, and deploying ServiceNow applications.
• Experience developing and supporting ServiceNow integrations with external systems.
• Experience with ITSM capabilities and scoped application development.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes within ServiceNow.
• Strong scripting and development capabilities, including JavaScript and related ServiceNow technologies.
• Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in Agile, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, configure, and deploy custom applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Scoped Applications & Workflow Automation: Create and configure scoped apps, Service Catalog items, Flow Designer workflows, and related solutions.
• Custom Application Development: Develop locally developed applications (LDAs) per ServiceNow best practices.
• Integrations: Lead and support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments across environments.
• Technical Collaboration: Map business requirements to ServiceNow capabilities with stakeholders.
• Code Reviews & Demonstrations: Participate in reviews, PoCs, and product demos.
• Troubleshooting & Configuration: Perform debugging, scripting, and configuration tasks.
• Citizen Developer Support: Mentor citizen developers in the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Platform Administration: Assist in deployment and management of USCIS systems and cloud platforms.
