Job summary

Optiv is seeking an IT ServiceNow Administrator to support the ServiceNow platform remotely in the USA. The role focuses on day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and ITSM support, including upgrades and health checks.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, ITIL familiarity, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward AI-enabled automation. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years hands-on ServiceNow administration or configuration.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, users, groups, roles, forms, catalogs, workflows, reports and dashboards.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting, integrations or APIs helpful.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and support the ServiceNow platform and ITSM capabilities.
• Manage users, groups, roles, access, forms, catalogs, workflows and notifications.
• Support incidents, requests, problems, changes, knowledge, and service catalog processes.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate on integrations.
• Assist with upgrades, patches, testing, dashboards, and health checks.
• Leverage AI capabilities (Now Assist, Virtual Agent) to improve automation.
• Maintain platform documentation and governance standards.
