Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a US-based Service Technician to support the North American Service Team, with a base involving remote work in North Carolina and extensive travel across North America.

You will install parts, educate customers, diagnose issues, prepare quotes, and document service activities while delivering high customer satisfaction and building strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Service Technician.
• Conveyor repairs and wear item replacement experience.
• Troubleshooting electrical panels and 480V.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install aftermarket parts and test for standard operation.
• Educate customers on maintenance schedules.
• Perform maintenance per service work orders.
• Diagnose problems and propose repair solutions.
• Prepare quotes and sales orders for parts.
• Complete service tickets and reports documenting work.
• Communicate service work and recommendations to customers.
