Job summary

Atlas Copco Group seeks a Service Sales Engineer for the South Region to drive VTS service sales across the territory, promoting service products to new and existing customers, reporting to the Regional Service Sales Manager - VTS North America.

The role requires at least 3 years in industrial service sales, strong technical aptitude, value-based selling, and willingness to travel (up to 60%, with local and overnight travel). SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in industrial service sales, preferably in vacuum industry.
• Understanding of value-based selling for service business.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to adapt to new products/technical developments.
• Experience in an industrial environment with engineering background is preferred.
• Clear understanding of optimized territory management.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize personal sales activities to achieve targets.
• Cooperate with service aftermarket team to provide aftersales service and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze market information such as pricing and competitive activity for management insight.
• Prepare proposals for service products including discount-based pricing using quoting tools.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels in the area.
• Update CRM with customer visits, opportunities, quotes, and status reports.
• Collaborate with Finance to improve receivables and reduce overdue.
• Grow business through development of the installed base.
• Undertake ad-hoc VTS projects and marketing campaigns.
• Provide regular customer information and feedback.
