Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking an experienced Industrial Sales professional to prospect, source, and maintain customers within the Austin area. You will drive sales of service products, upgrades, and equipment while supporting local distributors when needed.

The role requires 3 years of industrial sales experience and a four-year degree in business or marketing, with strong organizational and communication skills. The position is remote with travel within a 1–2 hour radius of Austin, TX, and includes a

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant industrial sales experience.
• Four-year degree in business or marketing or equivalent work experience.
• Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in assigned area.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals by developing action plans and schedules.
• Sell service products including service plans, fixed pricing repairs, overhauls, etc. to customers in assigned area.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity and telemarketing.
• Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers (key accounts).
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and introduce new products/service upgrades.
• Study customer needs and coordinate equipment sales with Sales Managers.
• Travel within the Austin vicinity and support local distributors when they exist.
