Job summary

Quincy Compressor is seeking a Service Sales Engineer to drive growth for the service business by leveraging technical expertise and understanding customer needs. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate with engineering and service product teams to implement effective service sales strategies.

You will guide customers in designing compressed air solutions, stay current on Quincy product offerings, and travel daily within the sales territory to meet energy and service goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization (desirable).
• Customer-focused with ability to understand and prioritize customer needs.
• Willing to take risks while analyzing potential pitfalls.
• Self-motivated and able to manage varied workloads with assertiveness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic sales territory, new accounts, opportunities and call planning.
• Guide customers in designing compressed air solutions and stay current on Quincy product offerings.
• Prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue and manage quotes and follow-up.
• Audit compressed air systems and work with local utilities to process energy-saving rebates.
• Provide training to customers and sub-distributors and troubleshoot current systems.
• Achieve business plan sales goals in Quincy categories including rotaries, reciprocating compressors, accessories and aftermarket services.
• Use Salesforce.com, CPQ (iQ2), SAP to gather customer information for quoting and recording activities.
• Process orders, ensure post-sales documentation and approvals are complete.
• Travel daily in sales territory and domestically as needed.
