Job summary

Atlas Copco Group's Quincy Compressor brand seeks a Service Sales Engineer to grow our service business in Jacksonville, FL. You will use your technical knowledge of compressed air systems to craft value propositions for customers and partner with engineering and service teams.

In this remote-friendly outside sales role, you will build a strategic territory, qualify opportunities, manage quotes, process orders, and travel nationally as needed while pursuing energy rebates and training customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization.
• Customer-focused with ability to understand and prioritize customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic sales territory, new accounts, opportunities and call planning.
• Guide customers in designing compressed air solutions and stay current on Quincy product offerings.
• Prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue, manage quotes and follow up as needed.
• Audit compressed air systems and work with local utility to process energy rebates.
• Provide training to customers and sub-distributors and troubleshoot current systems.
• Achieve sales goals in Quincy Business categories including small and large rotaries, reciprocating compressors, accessories and aftermarket services.
• Utilize tools like Salesforce.com, CPQ (iQ2), and SAP for quoting, follow-up and activity recording.
• Process orders, ensuring post-sales documentation and approvals are complete.
• Travel daily in the sales territory and domestically as needed.
