Job summary

Quincy Compressor is seeking a Service Sales Engineer to drive growth for our service business. You will design solutions, manage accounts and partners, and work with engineering and service teams to implement effective service sales strategies.

You will prospect, quote and close, audit systems for energy rebates, and train customers while expanding the local distribution network. This remote role is based in the United States with daily travel in the territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree (desirable) in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization.
• Customer-focused and can understand customer needs and prioritize them accordingly.
• Risk taker while still analyzing potential pitfalls of your actions.
• Self-motivated, able to act with varied workloads, and assertive and organized.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic sales territory, new accounts, opportunities and call planning.
• Prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue and manage quote logs.
• Audit compressed air systems, present results and work with local utility to process rebates for energy savings.
• Support and grow local sub-distribution network.
• Provide training to customers and sub-distribution and troubleshoot current system.
• Achieve Business Plan sales goals in Quincy Business categories including small and large rotaries, reciprocating compressors, accessories and aftermarket services.
• Collaborate with other areas and sales teams to develop opportunities and strategies to retain or recover lost customers.
• Travel daily in sales territory and domestically as needed.
