Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the delivery of service projects and Customer Care Agreements across the North American region.

You will report to the North American Mining & Material Service Manager and ensure customer requirements and targets are met while delivering excellent service at every stage of the order process. The role involves coordinating engineering, testing, site work and subcontractors, along with maintaining cost controls and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing service projects and managing customer expectations.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, testing, site work and sub-contractors.
• Proven track record in negotiating contracts and handling claims.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service orders to control costs, resources and HSE.
• Analyze risks and share lessons learned with the team.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers.
• Prepare quotes and implement contract changes per customer requests.
• Meet service order deliverables and contract requirements.
• Lead project team efforts and review contract performance.
