Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Service Contracts Manager to qualify incoming services contracts, draft and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs) and related contracts, and serve as a subject matter expert for the SOW process. This role drives the delivery of services offerings to internal and external clients by supporting SOWs, Service Orders, and change orders, while mentoring the SCORE team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields is required.
• 7-10 years combined work experience.
• 2-4 years in contracts, supply chain, procurement, supplier management, or asset management.
• 5 years of professional work experience directly related.
• 4-7 years professional writing experience required.
• Experience in IT or information technologies industry preferred.
• CRM software experience required (Salesforce preferred).
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe, and DocuSign.

Responsibilities

• Own the relationship with third party vendors and monitor pricing deliverables.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency with SOW development processes and toolsets.
• Partner with Optiv’s stakeholders on services selling best practices.
• Remove obstacles impeding the team’s progress.
• Perform research to uncover issues and report insights to leadership.
• Proficient in contracting and procurement best practices.
• Demonstrate advanced expertise in Optiv and vendor professional services.
• Train and mentor others on SOW development, QA, and compliance.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and leadership to enhance operating rhythms.
• Perform accurate SOW QA on a consistent basis.
• Assist in design of documentation templates and processes.
• Provide mentorship and peer review.
• Develop scalable policies and procedures.
