Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Leader, U.S. Trade Compliance Program to support the Country Trade Compliance Officer in managing ABB's U.S. Trade Compliance Program.

You will oversee strategic risk, policies, and controls while partnering with business stakeholders to ensure adherence to U.S. import/export, sanctions, and customs regulations. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, leadership across LTCOs, and the ability to work remotely within the United States.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in supply chain/trade management with 10+ years experience.
• Customs broker license strongly preferred.
• Certified Import and/or Export Specialist preferred.
• Super-user of Microsoft Platform tools; SAP/GTS knowledge preferred.
• Proven ability to manage U.S. trade compliance programs under U.S. trade regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support CTCO in developing, implementing, and executing the U.S. Trade Compliance Program strategy.
• Lead key program initiatives for import/export sanctions and other trade regs.
• Drive continuous improvement of U.S. trade compliance processes.
• Advise LTCOs on trade compliance risks and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in annual trade review and risk assessment activities.
• Coordinate remediation efforts from audits and regulatory reviews.
