Job summary

Blue Owl Capital is seeking a detail-oriented Title Coordinator/Underwriting Assistant to support real estate closings across multiple states. The role involves coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, underwriters and escrow teams to ensure timely and accurate closings.

You will manage orders, track commitments, prepare proformas and affidavits, and maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment. Remote options available within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in title industry, with title and/or escrow experience.
• Proficient in Softpro, Excel, Adobe and Word.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform required support functions for title underwriters and leadership.
• Maintain and amend orders, calendars, reports, commitments and proformas.
• Review commitments from external underwriters for accuracy and update tracker.
• Order tax and title continuations for closing.
• Prepare proformas as instructed by underwriters.
• Coordinate with underwriting, production and customers to ensure file completeness.
• Prepare and maintain tracking charts for commitments, proformas and policies.
• Review requirements and exceptions to update status of matters.
• Monitor satisfaction and completion of clearance matters.
• Prepare affidavits and other deal forms as directed by senior members.
• Open orders in software systems and complete required fields.
• Create invoices for licensed state transactions and national deals.
• Maintain pipelines of deals and review escrow instructions.
• Support post-closing activities including recording and final policy issuance.
• Communicate with outside parties such as underwriters, counsel, clients on transaction matters.
