Job summary

Blue Owl Capital is seeking a senior title/transaction professional in Chicago, Dallas, or remote to manage complex commercial real estate transactions. You will coordinate with national underwriters and workshare partners, review documentation, and ensure timely closings with accurate title policies.

The role requires 7+ years in commercial transactions, strong knowledge of title insurance, and proficiency with SoftPro.

Qualifications

• Experience with national/workshare relationships and workflows.
• 7+ years experience with commercial transactions.
• Ability to independently manage complex, high-dollar and time sensitive transactions.
• Proficiency with SoftPro.

Responsibilities

• Resolve commitment issues, letters, proforma issues and final policies for licensed states.
• Analyze recordings to verify title conditions and identify risks.
• Create workshare invoices on national files.
• Oversee closings conducted by national underwriters and review documents.
• Serve as primary contact throughout the transactions up to closing.
• Ensure recordings have been submitted and final policies issued by underwriters.
• Identify possible title insurance coverage issues and coordinate solutions with underwriters.
• Review and approve transaction documentation necessary for title policy issuance.
• Negotiate and calculate title premiums and fees for commercial real estate transactions.
• Provide pricing for commitments, endorsements, final policies and guarantees.
• Understand underwriting concepts and industry terminology and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate interaction among underwriters and workshare partners on transactions.
