Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager for Third-Party Risk Management to oversee the organization’s third-party risk program. The role ensures compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plan requirements, guiding risk mitigation and governance across the enterprise.

The position offers remote work from anywhere in the Continental United States and requires strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in audits and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Health Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of Audit, Compliance, third party oversight and/or related experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace and health plan administration preferred.
• Project management experience in planning, coordinating and executing projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains third party risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
• Evaluates third party compliance and performance through audits and monitoring activities.
• Manages issue resolution and remediation progress with action plans.
• Leads risk assessments and due diligence for new and existing third parties.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to identify and manage third party risks.
• Prepares and presents reports and dashboards for senior leadership and board.
• Supports audits related to third party oversight by maintaining documentation and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Monitors timely receipt of regulatory and contractual reports.
• Serves as main point of contact for third parties on contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Manages and mentors a team, allocating resources effectively.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Business Management, Health Administration, or related equivalent work experience
