Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a senior leader to oversee the organization’s third‑party risk management program, guiding audits, compliance, and risk mitigation. The role collaborates with Operations, IT Security, Procurement, Compliance, and other teams to ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor a team of contributors, present insights to leadership, and help shape policy across Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace and health plan administration, while benefiting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Health Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of audit, compliance, third‑party oversight and/or related experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace and health plan administration preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains third party risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
• Evaluates third party compliance and performance via audits and monitoring activities.
• Manages issue resolution and remediation tracking for third parties.
• Leads risk assessments and due diligence for new and existing third parties.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate and manage third party risks.
• Prepares and presents reports and dashboards for senior leadership and board of directors.
• Supports audits by maintaining documentation and coordinating with third parties.
• Monitors timely receipt of regulatory and contractual reports.
