Job summary

Cribl is seeking Technical Support Engineers to ensure enterprise-level customer success. You will resolve complex telemetry issues for leaders in IT and Security, working remotely in a global team.

The role emphasizes collaboration, deep product understanding, and timely issue resolution. You’ll troubleshoot, document solutions, and contribute to knowledge bases while supporting Cribl Stream and related observability tools across Slack, email, and meetings.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience supporting enterprise customers or distributed systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Excellent client-facing and written/verbal communication.
• Experience with Linux, AWS, Azure, and networking.
• Bonus: Splunk, Elasticsearch, LogStash and/or other observability tech; Regex and JavaScript a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep technical understanding of Cribl Stream and other products.
• Provide extraordinary technical support to Enterprise customers via multiple channels (Slack, email, online meetings).
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues following standard procedures to internal teams.
• Provide timely feedback to customers and ensure proper recording and closure of issues.
• Create knowledge base notes and participate in real-time forums for questions.
• This role may require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
