Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a high-impact leader to run the North American Ruminant Technical Service team, delivering expert technical support across probiotic, enzyme, feed additive, and silage solutions. You will guide a team of specialists, translate science into customer value, and drive strategic partnerships with Sales, Marketing, and R&D.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer focus and relationship building; Scientific rigor and analytical thinking.
• Collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing technical research programs and field trials; Strong background in trial design, execution, and statistical analysis.
• Established industry network among nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and producers.
• Passion for advancing animal health, nutrition, and sustainability through science-based innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and SMEs.
• Develop and execute North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
