Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire top technical talent across engineering and operations. You will partner with hiring managers, HR partners, and cross-functional teams to build pipelines and shape recruitment strategy in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This remote role prefers candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zone and requires up to 15% travel. A strong background in engineering/operations recruiting and proficiency with ATS tools,

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for engineering and operations roles in complex environments.
• Proven ability to source and close passive candidates using Boolean search and market research.
• Experience partnering with engineering leaders, HRBPs, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficient with applicant tracking systems; Workday preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans, role requirements, and priorities.
• Develop and execute targeted recruiting and sourcing strategies for engineering and operations roles.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate passive candidates using LinkedIn and other sourcing tools.
• Build and maintain high-quality technical pipelines for current and anticipated needs.
• Conduct market research and talent mapping to understand skill availability and compensation trends.
• Partner with managers to establish assessment strategies, interview approaches, and criteria.
• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screens for technical fit.
• Serve as a trusted talent advisor on availability, quality, compensation, and strategy.
• Manage candidate activity and documentation in Workday throughout the lifecycle.
