Acara Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer for a remote contract role in banking. You will lead architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of complex technical solutions and mentor other engineers.

You'll partner with technology leaders, stakeholders, customers, and vendors to translate requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring regulatory, security, and control standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum12 years of experience in systems design, management or architecture.
• Minimum12 years of experience in reliability, performance, and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of new and existing technical solutions, including infrastructure and systems initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, assess opportunities, estimate effort, and deliver solutions aligned with goals.
• Establish and promote technology standards, ensuring solutions meet risk, regulatory, security, and internal control requirements.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and external resources, support budgets, and research emerging technologies.
• Mentor and coach engineers, reviewing solutions and documentation to promote quality and development.
