Job summary

CTG is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer for a remote, 4-month engagement. The role focuses on delivering technical solutions, designing systems, and providing guidance at the highest level of technical direction in development and deployment.

Responsibilities include leading design and implementation, coordinating vendors, mentoring engineers, and maintaining up-to-date expertise in financial services technologies. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Combined minimum of 12 years higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.
• Strong understanding of system development and infrastructure lifecycle and vendor best practices.
• Experience with IT Service Management and large-scale architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and execution of technical solutions meeting current and future organizational needs.
• Involve infrastructure architecture, R&D of new/expanded systems, and technology standard creation.
• Gather business requirements, estimate effort for complex projects, and coordinate vendor resources as needed.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and review documentation and proposals.
• Promote industry best practices and maintain expert technical knowledge of related applications and environments.
• Assist in developing expense and capital budgets.
