Acara Solutions in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of complex technical solutions that support evolving business needs.

You will partner with technology leaders, business stakeholders, customers, support teams, and vendors to translate requirements into scalable systems while mentoring engineers and promoting reliability, security, and best practices across teams.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
12+ years of experience in systems design, management or architecture.
12+ years of experience as Senior Site Reliability Engineer.
12+ years of experience in defining reliability standards (SLOs/SLAs).
12+ years as SME for reliability, performance, resilience, and canary deployments.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of new and existing technical solutions, including infrastructure initiatives.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver aligned solutions.
Establish and promote technology standards, policies, and security controls across projects.
Coordinate vendor relationships and support technology budgets and adoption of new trends.
Mentor engineers and review proposed solutions to promote quality and continuous development.
