Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, seeks a Senior Technical Sales Representative to develop and execute sales plans for assigned accounts. You will generate new business, manage existing relationships, and drive revenue in mining and related sectors.

A bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of sales experience is preferred, along with strong negotiation and presentation skills. This home-based role requires travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of sales experience, or 7 years of sales experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend manuals, procedures, and other written documents in English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and mining locations as required.
• College degree and industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute the sales/account plan for the assigned account portfolio.
• Acquire and retain accounts while building and strengthening customer relationships to achieve commercial objectives.
• Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit targets by effectively managing resources and sales channels.
• Travel to customer sites and mining locations as required.
• Act as a liaison between customer service, marketing, credit, and legal teams to address customer and channel requirements.
• Generate sales of batteries, chargers, and services within assigned territories.
