Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems engineering or related field, especially in production environments.
• Strong Linux/Windows administration and cloud experience (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with IaC, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Security posture and compliance awareness in VA-like environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level day-to-day operational support for complex cloud systems.
• Detect, isolate, document, and resolve system outages during operations.
• Collaborate with customer and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain system documentation, training, and asset inventories.
• Implement continuous improvement using IT systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with VA standards and security policies.
