Job summary

Everlane is seeking a Senior Manager of Sustainability to lead the company’s strategy across materials, factories, and reporting. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive actionable programs that advance Renew, Organic Cotton, and carbon reduction goals while embedding sustainability across product creation and brand storytelling.

You will own quarterly and annual reporting, manage vendor compliance programs, and influence decisions with data and insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility or a related field.
• Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product-focused environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Feels comfortable speaking in large groups and with the press.
• A natural love for market research and benchmarking and staying informed on the latest tech and trends in sustainability.
• Passionate about global sustainability and making a long-term impact on climate.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of Everlane’s sustainability roadmap across climate, water, waste, and circularity.
• Drive progress against existing commitments (Renew, Organic Cotton, carbon footprint reduction).
• Translate high-level goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with Raw Materials and Product Development to integrate lower-impact materials.
• Coordinate with factories, mills, and vendors to meet environmental and social standards.
• Support and evolve vendor compliance programs and data collection.
• Own quarterly and annual sustainability reporting for transparency and accuracy.
• Support systems tracking environmental and social data across operations.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support sustainability storytelling and updates to the website.
• Work with Workplace and Retail to embed sustainable practices across spaces.
• Provide updates to leadership on progress and initiatives.
• Represent Everlane in industry conferences and working groups.
