Job summary

Everlane, a leader in clean luxury, seeks a Senior Manager of Sustainability to drive climate, materials, and social initiatives across the business. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate high-level goals into concrete programs, and ensure accountability through robust reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility or a related field.
• Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product-focused environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Strong project management skills with ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Comfort speaking in large groups and with the press.
• Market research and benchmarking; staying informed on trends in sustainability.
• Passionate about global sustainability and long-term climate impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of Everlane’s sustainability roadmap across climate, water, waste, and circularity.
• Drive progress against existing commitments (Renew, Organic Cotton, carbon footprint reduction) with tracking and accountability.
• Translate goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with Raw Materials and Product Development to integrate lower-impact materials into products.
• Collaborate with factories, mills, and vendors to meet environmental and social standards.
• Support and evolve vendor compliance programs, including data collection and reporting.
• Own quarterly and annual sustainability reporting for accuracy and transparency.
• Help implement systems to track environmental and social compliance data.
• Partner with Marketing to support sustainability storytelling and updates to the sustainability site.
• Collaborate with Workplace and Retail teams to embed sustainability in spaces.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on progress and initiatives.
• Represent Everlane in industry conversations and events as needed.
• Stay informed on trends, innovations, and regulatory changes in sustainability.
