Ladders is seeking a Senior Supervisory Attorney - Complex Claim Unit to lead complex insurance claim matters with a strong emphasis on litigation strategy, coverage analysis, and case resolution. The role will partner with senior leadership and guide outside counsel to ensure consistency with internal standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a JD, bar admission eligibility, and deep knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law, along with demonstrated litigation experience and external

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Admitted to state bar or eligible within the specified timeframe.
• Strong knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law.
• Experience preparing pleadings and deposing witnesses.
• Experience managing external counsel is a plus.
• Must pass adjuster license exam within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Manage outside counsel to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines
• Develop and implement litigation strategies for successful case resolution
• Conduct initial coverage reviews and draft Reservation of Rights letters
• Participate in regular strategy meetings with management and legal teams
• Present case files effectively to senior leadership
• Monitor and manage the lifecycle of litigation files, ensuring timely closure
• Recognize coverage issues early and engage relevant partners for analysis
