Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive category development, supplier engagement, and sourcing execution across the United States. You will lead RFx processes, manage supplier performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create value and mitigate risk.

Applicants should have 10+ years in procurement, strong analytics, and experience with eSourcing tools. Remote work with CST/PST hours is available.

Qualifications

• What you need to have: 10+ years in Procurement/Sourcing including 6+ years in sourcing software and complex technology services.
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Experience with eSourcing and spending analytics tools and strong Excel/Google Suite skills.
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus.
• Extensive negotiation and contract management experience.
• Strong customer service focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and performance targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute supplier initiatives.
• Develop analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs.
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance.
• Support RFx efforts by leading supplier selection processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance in source-to-pay workflows.
• Manage strategic procurement engagement with one or more business units.
