Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive category development, supplier engagement, and RFx execution across internal customers. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop savings-driven strategies, and manage supplier performance while ensuring risk mitigation.

Location is remote in the United States, with availability to work CST or PST hours. Candidates should have 10+ years in procurement, 6+ years in technology sourcing, and strong Excel/analytics skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing, including 6+ years in sourcing software and complex technology services.
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Experience with eSourcing and spending analytics tools (Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua or similar).
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus.
• Extensive negotiation and contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define business requirements and supplier initiatives.
• Develop analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs to monitor progress.
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance.
• Support RFx efforts by leading supplier selection processes.
