Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category development, strategic procurement engagement, and sourcing execution with internal customers and cross-functional stakeholders. You will manage supplier selection and RFx processes, monitor service providers, and address risk and performance across the purchasing lifecycle.
Location – Remote. You must be available to work CST or PST hours.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in Procurement/Sourcing with 6+ years in sourcing tech services.
- BA/BS in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Experience with eSourcing and spend analytics tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop category management plans and sourcing strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and create value.
- Develop reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs.
- Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance.
- Support RFx efforts and lead supplier selections.
- Collaborate with Legal and Third-Party Governance in source-to-pay.
