Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category development, strategic procurement engagement, and sourcing execution with internal customers and cross-functional stakeholders. You will manage RFx processes, supplier performance, and risk while collaborating across Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance to drive value, quality, and cost savings.

This remote role is open to applicants across the United States, with CST or PST hours.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in Procurement/Sourcing
• 6+ years of sourcing software and complex technology services
• Experience eSourcing and spending analytics tools
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus
• Extensive negotiation and contract management experience
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills
• Category management plan development and execution experience
• Ability to lead complex sourcing events

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies
• Lead cross-functional teams to define business requirements and supplier initiatives
• Develop analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance
• Support RFx efforts by leading project teams
• Partner with Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance
• Manage strategic procurement engagement with key business units
