Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category development, strategic procurement engagements, and sourcing execution with internal customers and cross-functional stakeholders. You will drive RFx processes, supplier selection and management, risk mitigation, and performance metrics.

This remote US role requires CST or PST hours and offers a competitive compensation package and incentive program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement/sourcing experience including 6+ years in complex technology services.
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Experience with eSourcing and spend analytics tools (Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua or similar).
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Category management planning and execution experience.
• Ability to lead complex RFx events (RFP/RFI/RFQ).
• Proven track record of delivering value to partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and drive supplier initiatives.
• Develop analytical reports on savings, KPIs, and progress.
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance.
• Support RFx efforts by guiding project teams through supplier selection.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance on contracts.
• Manage strategic procurement engagement with key business units.
