Altana is hiring a senior software engineer to lead backend and data-driven services in a cloud-based platform. You will influence architectural direction, collaborate with data scientists, and deliver scalable APIs and workflows for a global customer base.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical decisions, and own end-to-end responsibility from concept to production, ensuring code quality and maintainability across team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of real-world backend or data-driven software experience.
• Production deployments to cloud environments and delivering incremental releases.

Responsibilities

• Ingest requirements and design iterative technology solutions aligned to product roadmap.
• Collaborate with product manager to plan implementations against technical roadmaps.
• Maintain and deploy customer-facing workflows and core product architecture.
• Mentor engineers and uphold high quality in design and code reviews.
• Drive technical decisions and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
