This remote US role partners with engineering leadership to advance deployment, monitoring, and security across production systems. The role emphasizes mentorship of leaders, setting reliability priorities, and driving critical initiatives from discovery through resolution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SRE or related fields with significant leadership experience.
• Proven track record in building and mentoring high-performing technical teams.
• Experience managing large-scale production systems and infrastructure organizations.
• Strong expertise in Linux systems deployment and automation.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing Site Reliability Engineering team
• Manage engineering managers and foster leadership capabilities within the organization
• Set team goals and reliability priorities, ensuring commitments are met or adjusted as needed
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to define strategic priorities and execution plans
• Drive automation improvements for deploying storage infrastructure and related systems
• Oversee vulnerability management and ensure compliance with security requirements
• Lead complex reliability initiatives from discovery to resolution
