Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a remote Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance resiliency, automate processes, and drive self-healing deployments.

Responsibilities include monitoring, incident response, IaC, and performance optimization, with emphasis on scalability and cross-functional collaboration. Remote role with compensation reflecting US market practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• AWS/Azure/Google Cloud certifications preferred.
• Experience in Linux/Unix, networking, and system administration.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident review skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors system health, performance metrics, and alerts to identify incidents and restores services promptly.
• Implements incident response processes to minimize downtime and improve availability.
• Designs, develops, and maintains automation tools, scripts, and deployment processes.
• Implements Infrastructure-as-Code to ensure consistency across environments.
• Leads incident response efforts and conducts post-incident analyses to identify root causes.
• Collaborates with development and operations teams to ensure reliability and scalability.
