Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Splunk practice. This role is remote, with the Ohio Valley region highlighted and can be performed from Strongsville, OH among other US locations.

You will act as the technical authority in pre-sales, owning complex proofs-of-value, architecture discussions, and competitive bake-offs. You’ll collaborate with account teams to win strategic opportunities and mentor peers.

Competenze

• 5+ years in pre-sales engineering or a similar deep technical role.
• 5+ years of broad and deep technical knowledge across security, observability, event, or network management.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP) preferred.

Mansioni

• Be the Technical Authority: Own and win the technical decision. Lead breakdown sessions, bake-offs, and proofs-of-value.
• Master and Promote: Articulate vision and technical details to engineers and executives.
• Design for Complexity: Architect and validate single-architecture solutions for high-reaching requirements.
• Win as a Team: Partner with Cisco ecosystem and Account Managers to win opportunities.
• Mentor and Scale Expertise: Mentor the SE community and share protocols.
• Influence Product Direction: Provide feedback to engineering and business units.
