Cisco is seeking a Splunk Solutions Engineer (SE) to be the technical authority for our most complex customer engagements in the Ohio Valley region. You will lead technical discussions, craft proofs-of-value, and collaborate with account teams to win strategic opportunities.

This role emphasizes deep expertise in security, observability, and network management, with a track record in RFXs, competitive analysis, and thought leadership.

Competenze

• 5+ years of demonstrated ability in a pre-sales engineering or a similar deep technical role.
• 5+ years of broad and deep technical knowledge across security, observability, event, or network management.
• 5+ years of communication and presentation skills with internal partners or external customers.
• Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and partners.
• Observability or security pre-sales experience.
• Experience with completing RFXs, competitive analysis, positioning, and first-hand bake-offs.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP).
• Strong understanding of automation, APIs, and programmability.
• Experience in a thought leadership role (public speaking, technical blogs or whitepapers).
