Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote products, and navigate payer environments in the US. You will lead branded programs, build customer relationships, and support access and reimbursement efforts while aligning with Amgen’s values.

You will drive territory plans, engage in both in-person and virtual activities, and collaborate with teams to maximize patient impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, or medical device industries preferred
• Local market knowledge and adaptability to regional dynamics

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and promote Amgen products through planned programs and medical education initiatives.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and learn from experiences.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products and maintain brand integrity throughout the sales cycle.
