Job summary

Clarivate Plc is seeking a Senior Solutions Sales Manager for Research & Analytics to drive growth across the US academic market. You will own product-led sales strategy, build a strong pipeline, and increase deal sizes while supporting selective new logos.

You will collaborate with Account Managers and commercial partners to execute impactful sales strategies and deliver meaningful results, focusing on Web of Science and related analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.
• ~7+ years of experience in research platform solutions, API’s or other integration, custom data sets, reports, or a combination of these alongside consultancy services to Academic clients.

Responsibilities

• Prior selling experience and in-depth domain knowledge of the US Academic Market.
• Developing accounts through proactive prospecting
• Deep discovery to understand customer workflow and content needs
• Adept and cultivating strong customer relationships with senior stakeholders
• Consistent achievement of commercial targets in a complex sales environment
• Achieve sales targets for assigned products and territories, ensuring alignment with Clarivate’s overall business objectives
• Identify and support new business opportunities both independently and in collaboration with Account Managers
• Leverage product expertise to design and present value-added solutions to address customer needs
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with Account Managers
• Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through regular communication, exceptional service
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive campaigns and new business activities
• Continuously acquire market, industry, and product knowledge to enhance commercial effectiveness
