Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for Public Sector within Professional Services. Remote in the United States.

You will lead implementations and empower customers to use Chainguard to build secure software, partnering with sales, product, and engineering to deliver value. You will work with federal/state entities, ensuring compliance and secure image builds, traveling up to 15% for customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a post-sales role supporting Public Sector clients.
• 8+ years developing high-performance multi-tier applications.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers and modern security practices.
• Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or CMMC compliance.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for customer engagements.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard images for Public Sector.
• Partner with account teams to translate customer vision into strategy and value.
• Ensure high-quality Chainguard Images and smooth onboarding for customers.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to reflect customer needs in roadmaps.
• Maintain account-level architecture and share best practices across teams.
• Collaborate, teach, and learn with Chainguard colleagues.
