Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and run scalable infrastructure powering our Compute products and services. You will drive automation and operational excellence while supporting customer-facing applications and infrastructure.

In this role, you will define requirements, lead project teams, and develop SLOs/KPIs in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Support.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in SRE/DevOps or similar roles.
• Experience architecting hardware, software, and infrastructure at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to align engineering work with business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements in the product lifecycle to influence designs and standards.
• Provide leadership and motivation for project teams.
• Create and maintain SLOs and KPIs with cross-functional teams.
• Investigate complex problems with incident management and post-mortems.
• Participate in on-call rotations and guide restoration of services.
