Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Senior Site Contracts Manager for a sponsor-dedicated program focused on high-impact Pharma & Vaccine studies. This remote-US based role requires experience negotiating with major academic institutions and managing complex site budgets and CTAs.

You will partner with internal teams, external stakeholders, and leading academic centers to craft robust contracts that minimize risk while enabling operational excellence. Oncology experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building budgets and contracts from templates.
• Direct experience negotiating with large academic institutions.
• Ability to juggle priorities, lead projects, and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong understanding of clinical study protocols, timelines, and siterelated milestones (e.g., SIV).
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Build US site budget templates and study-specific budget language for Pharma & Vaccine clinical trials.
• Develop and refine templates to support consistency, compliance, and strategic study needs.
• Lead direct negotiations with large academic institutions and other critical stakeholders.
• Draft and finalize clinical trial agreements that balance business objectives with legal and operational protections.
• Conduct due diligence checks—such as FMV assessments and site justification reviews.
• Determine when requests require budget or language escalation and secure approvals.
• Prioritize and lead multiple contracting projects across several therapeutic areas (oncology preferred).
• Proactively elevate risks, timeline impacts, or delays that could affect CTA execution.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and clinical trial management systems.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats; maintain trackers and databases.
• Deepen knowledge of GCP, sponsor processes, SOPs, and new technologies.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Support and train team members; contribute to process improvements.
• Take on ad hoc tasks with a solutions-oriented mindset.
