SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior SCADA Design Engineer to lead in-house SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects. This fully remote role involves creating comprehensive drawings with AutoCAD and Visio, defining standards, and mentoring the design team to ensure high-quality, compliant SCADA systems.

You will coordinate with the SOLV OT team, review complex configurations, and drive projects from design through commissioning readiness while aligning with company standards for

Qualificações

• Engineering degree in electrical/ mechanical/ energy engineering
• Direct experience drafting SCADA, networking, and substation drawings
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Layer 2/3 networking
• Experience with SCADA networks using fiber, RS-232/RS-485, and Ethernet

Responsabilidades

• Lead and own in-house SCADA design for utility-scale solar, BESS, and wind projects.
• Develop drawings in AutoCAD and Visio; produce diagrams and BOMs for SCADA racks and enclosures.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with SOLV OT teams on hardware requirements.
• Ensure NERC compliance and governance in design standards, documentation, and training.
• Support commissioning readiness, project handoff, and long-term system reliability.
