SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior SCADA Design Lead to manage the in-house design of SCADA monitoring and control systems for large renewable energy projects.

You will work with AutoCAD, Visio, and other tools to develop comprehensive designs, ensure quality standards, and support commissioning readiness. You will mentor junior engineers, drive standardization, and coordinate with OT teams and customers to deliver reliable, compliant SCADA solutions across PV, wind, and BESS installations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering.
• Direct SCADA engineering experience.
• Advanced AutoCAD drawing experience.
• Proficient in fiber, RS-232/RS-485, Ethernet.
• Knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking and SCADA integration.
• Experience with power plant procedures and NERC considerations.

Responsabilités

• Lead SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Develop drawings, diagrams, and BOMs for SCADA systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and review design work.
• Collaborate with SOLV OT on hardware requirements and integration.
• Drive standardization and deliver for project handoff and commissioning.
• Support on-site commissioning and field issue resolution.
