Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior SCADA Design Engineer to lead the in-house design of SCADA monitoring and control systems for utility-scale renewable projects.

You will define standards, produce drawings, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with the OT team and customers to ensure project success. Role emphasizes remote work, strong expertise in SCADA networking, and experience with AutoCAD and Visio.

Qualifications

• Senior level SCADA design experience across utility-scale PV, BESS, wind, or related power projects.
• Experience drafting engineering drawings and standards for SCADA, networking, and substation designs.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and industrial networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA design workstreams and own design reviews for complex projects.
• Mentor engineers, enforce SOLV design standards, and ensure commissioning readiness.
• Collaborate with OT teams to define server and networking requirements.
• Develop and maintain project drawings, diagrams, and wiring schemes.
• Support field teams during commissioning and handoff with issue resolution.
