Job summary

Fidus Systems is seeking an experienced RF Designer to own RF subsystems from antenna port through front‑end, LO and data converters, delivering performance up to 40 GHz. You will drive architecture, plan frequencies, model performance, and validate designs with customers.

The role requires 8+ years in RF/wireless hardware, strong lab capability, and collaboration across FPGA, DSP, PCB layout, and SI teams. Remote work with travel may be required within NA and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years designing RF and wireless hardware.
• Experience with RF schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define RF architecture and frequency plan for high‑frequency systems.
• Design Tx/Rx chains including filters, mixers, L/C, and beamforming concepts.
• Model, budget, and verify NF, sensitivity, and EVM in lab and simulations.
• Collaborate with FPGA, DSP, SI/PI, and PCB teams for RF/microwave integration.
• Coordinate with customers, provide technical estimates, and risk mitigation.
